Preschool Special Education Program
3 to 5-year-olds
Our schools are where special needs preschoolers thrive. We provide comprehensive and highly individual educational and therapeutic services and support for the whole family. Our Preschool Special Education Programs include the following:
- Highly trained and experienced early childhood directors, and NYS licensed special education teachers and trained teacher’s aides.
- Highly trained speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and a school psychologist.
- Enrichment in the creative arts including art, music, and movement.
- Parent support and training.
- Approved to service Spanish speaking children in an interim Alternate Bilingual setting. We service children from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- We provide nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks during school hours.

Integrated Program
Our integrated special education program is founded on the belief that we live in an inclusive world where differences are respected and embraced.
Our integrated program offers a specialized opportunity for children with a range of special needs to learn and grow with typically developing children in an enriched social, cognitive, and language environment.
We provide specially designed curriculum with modifications as needed based on a student’s IEP goals.
Locations
The Preschool Special Education Integrated Programs are available at all sites.
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Self Contained Program
We provide specially designed self-contained programs to meet the individual needs of students who are recommended by the Committee on Preschool Special Education.
Our thematic based curriculum is designed to develop readiness skills for kindergarten and is aligned with the New York State Preschool Learning Standards.
Our self contained program is approved for 8:1:2 and 12:1:2. Our teachers and clinical and work collaboratively to help your child whenever possible to transition into a more inclusive setting.
