Our Education Philosophy

Children learn best through play and exploration. We provide an enriched classroom experience, knowing how much young minds expand during the early childhood years.

Our programs provide children with a physically and emotionally safe environment, where children are free to grow and explore. We understand the importance of critical thinking, building self-esteem, and developing self-confidence.

We strive to meet the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical needs of our students. We use a curriculum that is age-appropriate and aligns with the NYC Department of Education, and the New York State preschool Learning Standards.

We provide hands-on learning experiences in nature and in the classroom setting that allows children to make connections to the world around them.

We believe that families and staff are partners in fostering a lifelong love of learning. We provide families and children with opportunities to live and learn in an environment that prepares families and children for higher education opportunities in inclusive settings whenever possible.
