Our son is in the co-integrated pre-school program and we couldn’t ask for a better teacher or better therapists. Our son is extremely happy to go to school every day, and he has made tremendous progress at this school. I highly recommend this small school for pre-school.

My 11 month old daughter is currently enrolled at Books & Rattles. I brought her there after an extensive search for the right daycare. I delivered 3 Months early so when I had to go back to work after 3 months she was still tiny….the size of a newborn. But my heart was at ease, the nursery was set apart from the older kids which I appreciated. The nursery is clean, the staff is very friendly. I appreciate that they wear gloves to change the babies. They feed them on a consistent schedule and they have all the developmental toys for your child. I receive daily written reports of what she ate, her naps, and her excretions. My daughters’ current teacher, Ms. Maria has worked with her and she has excelled in her development despite being premature. Every day she comes home with something new. She has learned to give hi-fives, wave bye, say mama and dada and now at her developmental age of 9 Months she is almost walking on her own. I am truly grateful for this school and hope to keep my daughter there until she enters public school.

I am extremely glad that I found this school. The teachers and teachers assistants are great. My children feel welcome and loved. Everyone in this school is very polite and professional. The minute you walk in through the door you can feel the positive environment. The admin. is always willing to listen and help as much as possible. I’ve never felt as satisfied and confident leaving my children in any other daycare as I feel now. It’s an advantage that they take children as young as 6 wks. because I can leave both of my children in the same site, which gives me less hassle in the morning traffic. I with no doubt recommend this school to all parents.

Just recently enrolled my child in this school. So far so good. Her teacher is very friendly her teachers assistant is also very pleasant the place is clean and the arts and crafts look fun, they provide breakfast for the kids as well as snack and lunch which I think is pretty nice, gives it a public school (board of education) feel and prepares them for what it to come when they begin kindergarten. I look forward to see how much she learns and grows while attending this school.

This school is amazing. Teachers, therapists and the whole staff are very nice and professionals. My son is receiving both speech and OT, has been in this school for less than a year but I’ve seen a huge improvement in his speech in 2 months from not saying a single word. In 4 months he could already communicate in sentence. My son had difficult times in the beginning of school but teachers were very caring and loving to my son that made his transition to school easier. He loves going to school every morning, he’s learning and at the same time having fun.
